English CV vs Dutch CV in Belgium

There is no single right language for a CV in Belgium. It depends on where and with whom you apply.
Flanders
Dutch is expected by most employers. Use English only if the ad is in English or the company is clearly international.
Wallonia
French is the norm.
Brussels
Both French and Dutch are common, and English is widespread in international organisations. Follow the language of the vacancy.
A simple rule
Answer in the language the job ad is written in. Keeping your CV in two or three languages lets you react quickly.
